 Senior SQL 2008 Reporting Services Developer SSRS

 Job Responsibilities
The position will work with the programming team and company leadership to develop new application modules for SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services. The primary development platform will be Visual Studio 2008 / SQL Server 2008. Certain parts of our existing solutions are currently written in Delphi 6 and Visual Basic 6 and any new development will integrate with those existing modules as they are rewritten using Microsoft .NET technologies

Duties will include:
• Analyzing specific requirements for inclusion in the application, and helping to determine best strategy for building a best-in-industry product.
• Working with Product Managers to evolve understanding of product needs and translate into product specifications, then translating specifications into working systems components.
• Design and develop reports using SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Carefully testing new code or changes made to the application prior to submitting work to our QA team.

Job Skills/Requirements

- At least five years overall reports design and development experience.
- At least three years overall application development and analysis experience.
- At least three years in systems analysis, working to interpret user requirements and create workable systems designs.
- Practical experience developing scalable distributed applications using Microsoft .Net and C#.
- At least three years utilizing SQL Server 2005 including a demonstrated, proven ability to write and integrate stored procedure logic into application level requirements.
- At least 1 year utilizing SQL Server 2008 and SQL Server 2008 Reporting Services.
- Experience writing applications for the healthcare business is a plus.
