Description:
 RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides daily management of Microsoft SQL Server infrastructure and assures service availability.
- Provides performance tuning, backup and restoration of databases.
- Maintains replication.
- Maintains SQL reporting services.
- Documents all database maintenance procedures.
- Keeps SQL Servers up to date with necessary patches.
- Provides the general function of Change Control Management.

REQUIRED:

- A minimum of 4 years of database administration experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005 is required.
- Strong knowledge of Relational Databases and T-SQL Scripting is required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Clustering and Replication is required.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required Education:
- A bachelor`s degree in computer science or a related field is required.
- MS SQL Server 2000 DBA certified is a plus. (MCDBA)
